As a photographer, I witness a lot of weddings, and I have to admit that there are some that have such amazing energy that I finish my day and feel like I haven't even worked. This day felt that way.
Congratulations Maureen + Bradley, and thank you for believing me when I said that the Mississippi Street Fair would be the perfect place to take a limo to in the middle of the day.
Welcome to the cutest wedding in the history of weddings. Seriously.
Words can't describe how happy I am that by random chance I connected with Meg and Dan. Not only was their wedding full of joy and incredibly fun to photograph, but Kyle and I have become great friends with them over the course of the last year.
Everything about their day was adorable, and almost every detail was DIY. The invitations and programs were designed by the bride and groom, each sign was hand-drawn, the flowers were crafted by one of the bridesmaids, and the cake was baked the night before by the wedding party. Oh! How amazing is the taco pedaler that biked the entire party's dinner to the event!?
I love all of the photographs so much that it was difficult to choose which ones to post. There are quite a few, but I think it sums up their day beautifully. I've even interwoven the film photos into the thread (they are the square ones). Enjoy!
Alison and Chris kept things simple (and very Portland); they were married at City Hall in front of their closest friends and family, they held a cocktail hour afterwards at Clyde Common, and they hosted an intimate dinner at Ned Ludd (complete with a special menu crafted for the occasion). Every time I look through their photos I feel honored that I was fortunate enough to be part of their beautiful wedding day.
